Other than the name this is a cracker of a Magnolia for any garden or collection. We’ve just started growing it, and think it has real potential. “Slavins” as we call it is a small tree with a neat upright form and ascending branches. Lovely fragrant small white flowers in April with a hint of aniseed. New growth is a lovely copper fading to lush green, fabulous!
